The 2021 Michigan State Capitol ornament features a replica of the beautiful chandeliers found in the House and Senate chambers. The original "gasoliers" were considered cutting edge technology when the Capitol opened in 1879. In the 20th century the chandeliers were retrofitted for electric lights and today they use 42 LED light bulbs.
The 2021 offers two ornaments which represent the House Chamber in a terra cotta color or the Senate Chamber in a blue color. EACH ORNAMENT IS SOLD SEPARATELY
